All written claim form must be submitted within 30 days of the date of the event. The completed and signed claim form must be sent to your broker who will ensure that we get it in good time.

Here are a few basic guidelines to help you with your claim:
  • In the event of a claim of less than R 5 000, one replacement or repair quotation must be provided.
  • The claim form must be accompanied by a copy of the driver's license card and identity document of the driver, as well as any additional documentation as may be required by the claims department.
  • Where the claim amount exceeds R 5 000 or where the claims manager deems such appointment necessary, MUA will appoint an external loss adjuster from our panel of loss adjusters.
  • The policyholder may, in the event of an emergency, give authority for repairs not exceeding R 3 000.
