Personal Liability
This is the part of your insurance policy with us that takes care of claims that relate to matters that happen around you as a person. Its not fun to think of it, but you have to plan for a claim that is the result of a death, bodily injury or illness of any person.
It also covers claims that are as a result of loss of or damage to the tangible property of any person which occurs during the period of your insurance - and for which you become legally liable to pay for loss, damages, and costs and expenses.
MUA Clients are covered for R1 million.
Liability Plus
For a top-up service, we partner with Chartis South Africa Limited and undertake to cover you for a range of additional events. MUA will be your contact with Chartis for all administration on this, including submission, settlement and negotiation of your claims. We will also ensure confirmation of policy or claim information.
In short, this cover is a top-up option. It opens an extra R24 million cover to you.
