Some of the high net-worth tailored elements of our policies include:
- Innovative excess structures
- Excess waiver - Individuals over 55, even if employed full-time, enjoy the reward of an automatic basic policy excess waiver for both motor & home.
- Flexible cover options and enhanced features
- Minimum entry level sum insured - buildings, contents and all risks combined R 3 million or a contents minimum of R 750 000.
- Full coverage of accidental damage to both buildings and their contents.
- Comprehensive subsidence and landslip cover at no additional premium.
- Home appraisal service - this is a voluntary service arranged by MUA. Once the valuation is accepted by the insured, MUA removes the average clause.
- International personal luggage cover from airport to airport is included in the contents cover.
- No item limit under Unspecified All Risks Section.
- Our all risk cover is now extended to include normal household goods – covered anywhere in the world.
- Cover is available for contents not contained at insured address.
- Cover for emergency professional extermination of pest such as mice, rats and bees.
- Emergency home & road assistance help lines available 24 hours.
- Claims discount available at inception of cover if you are claim-free for three years or more.
