The 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development, adopted by all United Nations Member States in 2015, provides a shared blueprint for peace and prosperity for citizens, businesses and the planet, now and into the future. At the heart of the 2030 Agenda are the 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), which are an urgent call to action to end poverty, protect the planet and ensure that all people enjoy peace and prosperity.
Customer experience professionals are already familiar with human-centered design and systems thinking as part of the work we do. Dedicating ourselves to a human-centric, rights-based approach across all the other 16 Sustainable Development Goals will not only end poverty, but support efforts to achieve the global goals that impact all of us.
